With a combination of dedication, entrepreneurial skill, and community leadership, Tina Ruggiero has the perfect makings of a first class realtor. Being born and raised in The Bronx, I have called City Island her home for the over 30 years. When looking for a home for my family, I felt peace and serenity while driving over the bridge in to City Island. 'Its a small town in the vastness of New York City with the flavor of a quaint New England fishing village.' My involment in my community was recognized and I have been awarded a Citation for my efforts from the Bronx Borough President Ruben Diaz, Jr., for my commitment and tenacity. In 1988 I entered the Real Estate Industry as an agent and Vice President of Operations in mortgage banking. After having m youngest child, I left the mortgage industry to work in the family funeral home as the CFO for twenty five years and helped orchestrate the transition of the multi-generration family business. Now, I have returned to real estate full time working for Century21-Marciano with a breadth of prior experience in effective marketing techniques and the home search technologies of today's housing market. My passion is seen through my work and is reflected in my clients on-line reviews.  My favorite homes are the ones of historical character. The home I own was built in 1883 and came with a history and family dynamics of earlier times. The excitement that comes with discovering pieces of history is second to none. The joy that comes with helping buyers or sellers close on a home is a sense of satisfaction that Tina takes to heart.
